Drowned up by humanities own misery, this song can be understood as an angry prayer. A prayer to God, who's existence is questioned, a chant to a father who disappeared, a desperate cry for help while trying to wake up to a reality that shows nothing more than "broken pieces & bloody mirrors". Musically the song is composed as if we are thrown back into some sort of a tribe, which stands for the connection between humans and Mother Earth. The mix between dreamy elements and a pretty critical background story should put a spotlight to this complex, paradox life we all are trying to live to the fullest. Each day waking up with the same question as to what extend. (Mia Knop Jacobsen)
