For us as a band the song „Turn It“ refers to the process of putting the new album together which was a lot about thinking outside the box.
The lyrics tell a story about resistance and breaking with toxic hierarchies. It was most important for me to give it a striking attitude.
The lyrics are quite long. However, it’s not about each single line but the overall message. It’s rebellious and bold - an anarchist‘s song. A song to put your self-doubt aside for a moment and feel elevated by the music.
